Parenting: 9-14 Years

Introduction

A whole lot of things are changing in your child’s life as they enter the teen years. It’s really important to communicate your love and give them attention so they aren't wondering if this too is changing.  Teens feel cared for and supported when their parents enjoy spending time with them.  Teens who feel supported by their parents are more likely to be social and less likely to be depressed.  One of the most important roles you have as a parent is to love and communicate with your child
