The Beehive Montessori - AIM Educator
LOCATION: Prosperous, Co Kildare
JOB DESCRIPTION / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*
We are a sessional service catering for upto 41 children. We are based in the beautiful grounds of The Kildare Maze (though not the maze itself, don’t worry! 😀).
Aswell as our lovely classrooms we have a dedicated play area and also use of a giant sandpit, a natural wooden playground and lovely nature walks. Our classrooms without walls makes everyday full of opportunities for our curious and capable little adventurers.
- We are looking for an AIM educator who is dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic, and who has a child focused approach to early childhood education.
- All applicants must have a minimum qualification of FETAC level 5 in early years care and education.
- Experience in a sessional early years setting is preferred.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be naturally warm and responsive to young children’s needs and interests
- Have experience of working in a team environment, where everyone is respected and supported in their role.
- Have an inclusive approach to practice, with a particular interest in supporting a child/children with speech and language development activities (must be a fluent English speaker).
- Enjoy being outdoors and sharing adventures with our little ones.
- Have an understanding and knowledge of the Aistear Framework.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of child protection and the duties and responsibilities under Children First.
- Have experience of working with parents as partners
- Have a flexible and positive attitude
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
TEMPORARY / PERMANENT & HOURS PER WEEK:
- This position is term time, mornings only.
- 15 hours pw - initially a 1 year contract which may be reviewed thereafter

Kidz Akademy Creche are recruiting for Early Years Educators to join our amazing team. This role is a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm.
If you have a passion for Early Years Education, working with and caring for children, and are committed to providing the highest standards of quality care and development in Early Years, you are invited to apply for this role - a minimum of QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent) is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care.
- Plan and implement age/stage-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, maintaining accurate records as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the creche and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare facilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Experience in working within a play-based service and a working knowledge of applying Aistear and Siolta to curriculum planning and practice.
Requirements -
- Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Knowledge of Aistear and SÃolta frameworks is an advantage
