Early Scholars Athgarvan - Early Childhood Educators
Lead ECCE & Assistant roles
LOCATION: Athgarvan, Newbridge, Co.Kildare
JOB DESCRIPTION / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*
➡️Full & Part-time positions open!
We are seeking fun, energetic Early Years and Afterschool Educators to join our team in Athgarvan. We can offer full-time or part-time positions including ECCE room leader and School age room leader, Monday to Friday, both 20 hour and 35-40 hour per week options.
Requirements:
- Minimum QQI Level 5 (level 6 for ECCE room leader position) – proof of certificate is required
- QQI Level 6 an advantage, or planned progression to QQI Level 7
- 2 signed references
- Garda Vetting will be processed
- Further training provided including First Aid, Manual Handing and Fire Safety Role
Duties include:
- Assist in the day to day running of the service
- Ensuring adherence to Early Scholars policies and procedures
- Daily planning, child observations and scrapbooks
- Excellent communication skills required to work with families, children and staff.
TEMPORARY / PERMANENT & HOURS PER WEEK:
Permanent - part-time or full-time, 20 hours per week or 35-40 hours per week
