Kildare County Childcare Committee are hosting a series of evening briefing sessions on the new requirements under the Children First Act, one person from each service is encouraged to attend. Children First Mandatory Reporting from Monday 11th December 2017

The new Children First guidance comes into effect from Monday this will mean mandatory reporting of Child Protection concerns. You can download the new document here and we have hard copies available to collect from our offices in Irish and English. These Questions and Answers for Early Years' Services are also very useful. The Early Years Child Protection Programme will run Briefing Sessions on the new Act in 2018, to be announced.
